About Me

When I graduated college in 2011, I was ready to take on the world and become ultra successful in the business world. My plan was to become the next Mark Cuban and retire by age 35.

Although money was the key driver, I also wanted to maximize fun in my life and enjoy every night/weekend. Music Festivals, traveling the country to see friends, and hitting every bar in whatever city I was in.

Success came quickly for me at work and I was enjoying every minute of my personal life, but I found out all too soon there was not enough time in the day to get everything done.

My health and wellness suffered and was put on the back burner in favor of another cross country weekend trip.

After four hard charging years of living, two events in 2015 changed the course of my next decade:

  • Discovering the Tim Ferriss Podcast
  • Signing up to Climb Mount Rainier

The Tim Ferriss Podcast introduced me to the way elite performers think and act. They were prioritizing their life in a different way than I was up to that point.

I drunkenly agreed to sign up for a summit attempt of Mount Rainier with a friend in the summer of 2016. At the time I was about 30 pounds overweight and had no idea the amount of effort required in getting to the top of that mountain.

These two events caused me to understand the power of setting huge goals and creating systems/routines to achieve these goals.

Over the next decade I have slowly learned the power of discipline, routines, and efficiency.

This applies to my work life, personal life, and my health/wellness.I’ve experimented with hundreds of products, routines, and habits in an effort to maximize my daily output.

  • Began meditating (Over 2k sessions on the Calm app)
  • Learned how to cook + meal prep
  • Started lifting weights (Stronglifts 5×5), doing CrossFit, etc
  • Climbed 4 of the biggest and most notable mountains in the USA
  • Became a daily early riser after years of failing (get up at 5am daily now)
  • Went from 0 miles run to finishing a 50 Mile Ultramarathon

My goal with this website is to share the products and routines that have worked for me over the past decade and I hope it helps you along your journey to get the most out of life!
